It’s been super cold in Maine this week. After teaching remotely last week and being sick I’ve decided that I need to start doing more self care at home. Whether it’s a warm bubble bath, taking the time to do my nails or reading with a cup of tea, I’m going to make myself more of a priority. This week’s finds include at home foot care, a pink mocktail, a Frenchie newsletter and a quick dinner idea.
Foot Spa Kit
I tried VOESH Pedi in a Box this week and it left my neglected winter feet feeling fabulous. The kit comes with a salt soak, sugar scrub, mud mask and massage butter. It smelled so good and it was so relaxing. I watched an episode of Emily in Paris…again đ on my laptop and enjoyed a bit of pampering on a Wednesday.
Mocktail Season Continues
Seedlip’s mocktail recipes never disappoint and the Mr. Howard is yet another non-alcoholic beverage that is delicious and SO pretty. It’s a super easy recipe with no crazy ingredients, you can find them at your local market. Shake one up and serve in a pretty glass.

The Real Emily in Paris
I follow the instagram account thereal_emilyinparis. It’s full of her day to day life in Paris. Trips to the market, making dinner, decorated shop windows, stunning sunsets, her cute little dog. Just her everyday in the beautiful setting of Paris. She recently started a weekly newsletter and I signed up this week. There was a recipe was for a blood orange tea cake with the prettiest pink icing, I can’t wait to try it. A little weekly dose of France in your inbox.
French Bread Pizza
Speaking of inboxes. This French Bread Pizza from the NY Times Cooking popped up in mine and it looks so simple and yummy. I love a quick and easy dinner, especially lately when I seem to have zero energy after work.(anyone else?) I haven’t had this type of pizza since I was a kid so I’m looking forward to biting into this little bit of nostalgia.
Have a wonderful weekend and stay cozy!
