Good Morning and Happy Friday! I caught a nasty bug so I missed some work at the beginning of the week, but I’m feeling much better and glad to have gotten this cold out of my system. Hopefully this will be my one winter illness 🙂 On a positive note, we put our tree up this week and did some more decorating around the house! Everything feels super cozy. This week’s finds include soothing drinks, immune boosting foods, a series to binge and yummy soup.
Some of these warm, soothing beverages helped me so much this week when I was not feeling well. I have a lot of tea but I sometimes don’t know which tea my body needs. I ended up drinking a lot of green tea with honey and ginger tea. it certainly helped. Here are some more warm beverages that are great if you have a head cold.
Boost That Immunity
I’m sure I’ve shared something similar before but after the past couple of days I’ve had I am going to do anything to and everything I can to boost my immunity. This article by Better Homes and Gardens shares foods and tips to stay healthy this cold and flu season.
I’m a little late to the party on this one, but I binged this series while I was stuck in bed this week and I loved it. This take on Wednesday is more angsty than creepy (in my opinion) but they did a really nice job with the storyline. I also loved that Christina Ricci has a role as one of Wednesday’s teachers. Check it out on Netflix if you haven’t already.
Lemony Chicken-Feta Meatball Soup With Spinach
This soup is SO good and perfect for colder evenings. It’s full of dark leafy greens and lemon which are immunity boosting foods! It also only takes about 30 minutes to make, which is always a plus in my book.
