Happy Friday! This week seemed to drag a little but there is a chance of snow today which is always exciting and I won an Instagram giveaway! I never win these things but I entered to win a two night stay in a cute cabin in downeast Maine and I won! So a little getaway to look forward to during this crazy holiday season. Yay! Speaking of the holidays…less than 10 shopping days until Christmas, even less if you celebrate Hanukkah. The World Cup final is this Sunday and I am so excited to see France take on Argentina. Andrew and I were in France during the last World Cup semi final and final, needless to say it was CRAZY! I don’t celebrate Hanukkah but I am a lover a delicious food. This beautiful Challah and tangy Lemon Oil Cake look like yummy additions to the festivities. I have not made the Challah but I have made the cake, check out the suggestions in the comments and you will have a super yummy dessert.
I Heart NYC
New York City hotels have always made travel bucket lists.Think the Waldorf Astoria or The Plaza. There has been a recent boost in NYC hotels this past year with hotels boasting extra roome, those special touches and glam that only New York can bring. This article from Conde Nast gives a look at the New New York. I’m ready for some time in the city that never sleeps. Maybe over winter break. 🙂
Daisy and the Six
I am a HUGE fan of Taylor Jenkins Reid. If you have not read Daisy Jones and the Six and people are still asking what to get you during the holidays say this book! That way you will have plenty of time to read the book before the Amazon Prime series comes out in March. I am so excited to see this story and these characters brought to life.
