Happy April Fools Day! No tricks here, just treats. It’s hard to believe that March is over and we’re already 1/4 way through 2022! This week’s finds include an easy shawarma, a super cute Easter wreath, self care and a some comfy spring pants.
Chicken Shawarma
This free recipe popped up in my inbox from NYT Cooking last week. It looked simple enough for a weeknight meal and we love Shawarma, so I planned it for Wednesday. OH-MY-GOODNESS it was so tasty! This is definitely a keeper recipe. If for some reason it’s no longer a free recipe drop me a message, I saved it.

Hippity Hoppity
I love a fun craft project and am always looking for ways to sneak in holiday decor. I found a couple of cute pom pom wreaths that look perfect for Easter/Spring. This one is super cute white poms poms all around and bunny ears at the top. And this one is twine wrapped with a cluster of pom poms and a felt bunny. Both super cute and do not look that complicated to make. Easter is Sunday April 17 this year.
Social Media Self Care
These past couple of years have been tough and self care is more important now that ever. (in my opinion) I love to scroll on Instagram and look at people’s pictures; yummy meals, cute kids, even cuter pets, travel posts. I’m a lover of photos! But recently I started following a couple of self care accounts and they are pretty great. If you’re in need of some daily motivation/inspiration/ it’s ok to say “no” reminders mixed in with foodie pics check out @selfcareisforeveryone and @selfcare4yu.
Old Navy Pants
Looking for some comfy pants that don’t look like sweatpants? I stopped into Old Navy the other day to get some new workout pants and snagged some linen cropped pants as well. They are so comfortable! I think I’m going to pick up a couple more pairs. They run a little big, so definitely try them on or possibly size down. I didn’t do either of these things so I’m going to size down on my next pair.
Have a great weekend!
