Friday Finds September 23

September 23, 2022

Happy Fall Y’all! This is my absolute favorite season and I cannot wait to put out my autumn decor. Truthfully some items have already made it out of the bins but I couldn’t help it. This week’s finds include a seasonal beverage, a scary movie roundup, a cozy dinner and some fall craft ideas.

Mulled Cider

Making mulled cider isn’t rocket science but there are a few things to keep in mind when making this cozy drink. I found a simple recipe that is sure to not only taste delicious but make your whole home smell like fall.

Movies for Spooky Season

I know Halloween is still a month away but I am always ready for spooky season! This list of 30 Cult Horror movies is sure to give you some ideas for your next movie night. It has some of my favorites from the 90s like, The Witches, The Craft and I Know What You Did Last Summer but also some that I have never heard of like Don’t Look Now and The Love Witch.

Moroccan Beef Stew

I made this Moroccan Beef Stew for dinner the other day. It was really tasty and super comforting on a crisp evening. The stew has tomatoes, cilantro and harissa as well, so the flavor is really interesting. This was a free recipe on the Milk Street website but if it’s no longer available let me know. I’m a mail and digital subscriber and a pretty good sharer.

Fall Crafts

Crafting is one of my favorite pastimes. Especially seasonal crafts. I found a website with over 50 craft ideas and I want to make SO many of them. I like that the list included some similar items that I made years ago, I guess wooden post pumpkins never go out of style. 🙂 The dry leaf garland, the pallet pumpkin and all of the wreaths caught my eye. How many is too many fall wreaths?

Have a great weekend and enjoy these first fall days.
