Hip hip hooray for Friday! We’ve had so much sunshine this week it feels like spring is just around the corner and not months away. The sunshine certainly helps to put me in a good mood 🙂 even though I was hit with another nasty cold! Kindergarteners are such little germ balls. This week’s finds include some new music, a football snack, and a quirky vase.
Cotonete
Andrew and I are big fans of Guts, a French artist. I get updates from him through Bandcamp and he shared that his friends just released a new album. I had never heard of Cotonete but listened to their new album on the way home from work with Andrew. We ended up listening to their whole catalog and they will be a fixture on our playlists from now on. Linking their new album below. Check them out.
Football Dip
I’m not a football girly. I am here for the snacks, commercials and halftime show. I love a Buffalo Chicken Dip and this is a nice twist to the traditional one. It’s a layered dip so it’s basically the traditional Buffalo Chicken that we all love but then topped with lettuce, scallions, celery, and carrots. Then a little drizzle of blue cheese dressing and sprinkling of bacon. Yum!
Ceramic Face Vase
I’m always on the lookout for quirky things for our home. I saw this vase on instagram and had to have it. I’m not a huge fan of ordering things online, especially from Amazon BUT I really want it. I have it saved on my Apartment Finds List so that when we finally move back into our place I can order it. I love that the flowers look like hair, so it will always look different depending on the blooms. Gah….it’s SO good!
