Friday Finds February 4

February 4, 2022

Happy first Friday of February! I spent this week trying to stay warm while still enjoying the massive amount of snow we got last weekend. If it’s going to be cold, I want it to be a winter wonderland around me. Looks like we’re getting some more snow today, yay! This week’s finds include a hand saver, cute washcloths, a cutting board, and a citrus dessert.

LXMI Melt

My hands are so incredibly dry this time of year. Between constantly washing them (hello teachers) and exposure to the cold, they are in rough shape. This product is plant-derived, vegan, organic, cruelty-free, gluten-free, unscented, noncomedogenic, and dermatologist approved. Phew! That’s a lot of things. LXMI melt is an ultra-hydrating balm-to-oil that works wonders for your skin. Shopping Tip: Check out Poshmark for this product, you can find it for half the price NWT.

Cheery Washcloths

I’m a sucker for the Dollar Spot at Target. I scooped up these super cute washcloths this week. The colors are perfect for our bathroom and they are just so darn cheery. I couldn’t find a link for them on the website, so a trip to Target may be in order if you want to snag some.

Tidy Board

So, I actually got this board for Christmas but used it for the first time this week. We already have a lot of cutting boards but this one made cleanup so much easier! I make a bit of a mess when I cook and this really helped to keep thing organized and tidy.

Clementine Mousse

Citrus season is in full swing and this clementine creamsicle mousse looks like the perfect treat on a cold, gray day. Jennifer at The Lemon Apron has delicious, seasonal recipes that are always a hit. You’ll love her photos as much as her recipes, her blog is beautiful. I’ll be whipping up this treat over the weekend.

Only 6 more weeks of winter according to that marmot that lives in Pennsylvania. Damn Punxsutawney seems to always see his shadow.

Have a wonderful weekend!
