It actually felt a little Springy this week! We’re getting some major April showers today but that’s ok because that means May flowers right? This week’s finds include a trail finder, a “beach read”, a movie recommendation and a vegan Easter recipe.
All Trails
After going on a hike on Sunday I was inspired to see what other trails/hikes may be around me that I don’t know about . I found this All Trails website where you can search for local trails and beyond. You can even filter your results by category such as; dog friendly, trail running, hiking, kid friendly, etc. This is a new to me site and I already wrote down some places in my area that I want to check out.

Golden Girl
I had never read anything by Elin Hilderbrand but that changed when I went to the library last week and picked up Golden Girl. Vivi is a novelist who lives in Nantucket, has three adult children, and an ex-husband. When she’s killed on her early morning run, she’s told upon arriving in heaven that she’ll be able to observe her family members for 3 more months and will also get three “nudges”, three chances to influence events slightly, before it will be her time to move on. It was an easy read and I could totally picture myself with it poolside or at the beach.
Death on the Nile
Who doesn’t love a whodonit type mystery? Hercule Poirot is at it again! Instead of a passenger train this time he is aboard a glamorous Egyptian river steamer. His vacation takes a turn when a picture-perfect couple’s idyllic honeymoon is tragically cut short and Poirot must solve the case. You can find it on HBOMax and Hulu right now.
Vegan Cheesecake
I love an easy no bake dessert. And although the ingredient list of the recipe looks a bit long it doesn’t look complicated to make at all. I’m not vegan but I do like to experiment with vegan recipes and desserts are always fun to try, plus it looks so Eastery.
Have a wonderful weekend!
