Happy Friday! I’ve been on April Break this week and the plan was to go to France but it didn’t work out. The unpredictability of stand-by travel. That’s ok though, I had a nice staycation and the weather in Maine has been really nice. Spring is in the air. This week’s finds include a Sunday Supper, a beauty find and a new show.

Stracotto

I am a BIG fan of the website Closet Cooking. This guy whips up some amazingly tasty food in his closet sized kitchen. Which I could totally relate to prior to our renovation. You don’t need a big space to make good food, you just need a good recipe. I made Italian Pot Roast or Stracotto for Sunday Supper and it was delicious. I used boneless short ribs and served it over a gorgonzola polenta. *chef’s kiss*

It Takes Two

Sally Hansen makes this adorable duo of gel nail polishes. What a perfect way to try a color before committing to a whole bottle! I am notorious for buying a nail polish only to not love it. Like the pink is too pink or that grey looks weird with my pale skin.

Fallout

Andrew used to play the game Fallout. I’m not a big video game player but I liked the catchy old timey music and kitchy 40s/50s references. Well, it’s now a show on Prime and it’s quite good. According to my in-house video game connoisseur they have done a really great job creating the world where the game takes place, so it has his seal of approval. Plus, the same catchy music. 🙂
