Friday Finds- March 29

TGIF! This was one of those super long weeks. The weather wasn’t great, I still wasn’t feeling 100% and I had two days of parent teacher conferences. Talking to parents for hours on end is not my favorite thing. On a bright note, I was able to work on my little book nook! It’s coming along and going to look so good on our bookshelf. 🙂 Anyways….this week’s finds include some salad inspo, ideas for those Easter leftovers and comfy travel clothes.

Spruce Up Those Salads

I was just talking about how I get bored with salads the other day with a colleague. Packing a salad for lunch is always a healthier option but it’s hard to think of ways to keep them tasty. This article has some great tips to keep those greens interesting.

Get Creative With Those Leftovers

Is it even possible to buy a small ham? Every Easter we try to buy the smallest one but it always seems to leave us with ham for days. The Pioneer Woman has a great round up of recipes to repurpose those leftovers. The ham casserole and roasted ham hash look really good.

Staying Comfy While Flying

When you are on a long haul flight there you want to be comfortable. There’s a delicate balance though, because you also want to look good. At least I still want to look good. I would never be caught dead getting off a flight to Paris in baggy sweats. This Conde Nast article has some great choices for comfy yet not frumpy looking clothes. I’ll be adding the Banana Republic linen pants to my cart.

Have a great weekend! And Happy Easter to all who celebrate 🙂
