Friday Finds March 15

Advertisements

Happy Friday! I am pleasantly surprised that this week went by as quickly as it did. Usually the first week with daylight savings time is a rough one but this week was over in a flash. This week’s finds include a new Netflix show, a craft project and a recipe round up.

Ripley

The Talented Mr. Ripley is a favorite book of mine and I loved the movie version (and Jude Law) that came out in the 90s. Needless to say I am looking forward to the new limited Netflix series called Ripley. It’s due to premier April 4 and will have 8 episodes.

Book Nook

I’ve been seeing these ads on Instagram for cute little book nooks that you can build. I finally caved in and ordered one for our new bookshelf that Andrew has been working on. It arrived in the mail Wednesday and I’m excited to get to building it this weekend. I went with the Secret Rhythm Book Nook because it had a cute cat and the Eiffel Tower window view.

Saint Patrick’s Day Recipes

Food & Wine compiled a great recipe round up for this holiday weekend. The list features old standbys like corned beef and cabbage but also has some new to me and creative recipes. The Dingle pies, seafood and seaweed chowder and Irish potato and corned beef cakes all look wicked good.

Have a great weekend and Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! Sláinte! 🙂
