Mousseline au Chocolat

Tonight I made the yummiest dessert! It was Mousseline au Chocolat from Mastering the Art of French Cooking by Julia Child. Most of the recipes that we’ve made from this book have been savory and were very involved. This only took an hour of hands on time, including cleanup (we don’t have a dishwasher) and then they had to chill for at least 2 hours.

Your arm absolutely gets a workout making this mousse, I only used my KitchenAid for whipping the egg whites and then again with the whipped cream. When making the whipped cream I added a tablespoon of Cointreau along with the powdered sugar. It was delicious if I do say so myself, and so pretty. I mean look at this adorable little dessert!
